culmus software package provides TrueType and Type1 Hebrew Fonts for X11, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install culmus
culmus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the culmus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep culmus *
You will get with culmus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
